Questions

FAQ

Quick answers before you dive in.

Do I need to know the alphabet first?
No. You can start with listening and speaking; we introduce reading when it helps you remember phrases.
Which dialect is this?
SpeakArabicOnline teaches Modern Standard Arabic (MSA / الفصحى) — the shared formal variety used in education, media, and across the Arabic-speaking world. Lesson phrases use clear MSA pronunciation and vocabulary you can use for travel, work, and everyday communication. We do not teach Egyptian colloquial Arabic as the main variety in Level 1.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — selected Lesson 1 samples are free. A free sample does not unlock the rest of that level. Subscribe for $20/month when you are ready to continue your current academic level.
How does the subscription work?
One $20/month PayPal subscription covers your learning journey. You study one level at a time, keep completed levels for review, and cannot skip ahead. Read How Your Subscription Works for the full student policy.
